About me

With over 20 years of experience in teaching, a background in theater, and a degree in sociolinguistics (specializing in bilingualism and intercultural mediation), I use a creative, dynamic, and personalized approach to language learning and I help families and individuals live better with their multilingualism.

I lived in Rouen (Normandy), Paris, Portland,OR (USA) and now Grenoble (Alps).
I grew up in a monolingual family who opened their house to hundreds of people from all over the world. I remember our dinner conversations often filled with questions about the French language and culture, and we would be comparing cultures and languages with our multilingual guests. Now, raising my children in a bicultural and bilingual house has brought its fair share of fascinating topics as well.

To me theatre and sociolinguistics are two forever linked worlds where I get to observe people and learn about the world, while also telling their stories.

I have held positions in different schools, theatre and non-profit organisations, including:
– Fabulations – French Language Theatre,
– Alliance Française de Portland, Or,
– Portland French School,
– FAIS PDX,
– Atlas Academy,
– Le Monde immersion,
– Positive School (Gières)
– La dissidente
– La 56ème Compagnie
– American School of Grenoble (ASG)
– University of Savoie in Chambéry,
– Dulala (D’une langue à l’autre)
